It dates from around 1952 and is an attractive, well crafted lamp that has panache and Danish modern flair! The plaster work is superb and a sea of hash marks, reminiscent of a Dutch master's impasto brushstrokes, gives this lamp exquisite eye appeal! The Scandinavian mid century movement is noted for handcrafted woodwork, particularly teak, and how this movement managed to incorporate this wood into almost every type of furnishing and do so beautifully! Lamp is in fine condition. The teak is very good. The original linen shade crowns this table lamp and displays the designers sense of perfect proportion. Lamp works flawlessly.
