In the mid-century period, modern design inspired designers to create, create, create! Never before had there been such a wide variety of goods. Never before had designers so furiously competed for patrons. Some were never satisfied with mass-market merchandise and created their own unique furnishings for their living spaces. This lamp is such a "one-off" and was handcrafted. Sculpted in various woods it has great geometric form. It's topped with a fiberglass shade. Switch on socket. Original wiring and electrics. Very good condition. Some typical age wear to wood and to the fiberglass shade. Works well!
