This is a wonderful and rare wormy wood lamp that is just incredible! The interior texture-meter goes off the scale in measuring the various textures and visual eye candy in this lamp!
This was a one-off design made by a very inspired mid century artisan who utilized a piece of centuries old worm wood to act as the perfect base for a "modern" lamp! Old and new combine in a way to give a sense of timelessness - that still holds true today, a half century later!
The gorgeous shade is made of string, shows very light wear and casts a beautiful, warm light when lit! These one-off pieces are always sought by decorators who know the power they have to add beauty and the perfect details to living spaces.
